Water Hoses

Water connectors are important plumbing equipment for your sinks and other appliances. They are sturdy hoses that connect these appliances to your building's water supply. Here is a quick and helpful overview of installing water connector hoses and understanding their use.

Some faucets actually come with connector hoses. Many others, however, do not; therefore, it is helpful to read up on how the hoses work. Any leaks in your appliances may be the result of a faulty connector hose or its connection to your supply. If your hose is related to the cause of the leak, there are several options you can consider, such as tightening the connection, using Teflon tape, and reconnecting the hoses.

The last but still critical thing to remember about connector hoses is measurements. You should take into account the dimensions of the connector hose, what length you will require, the location of your water supply relative to your appliances, and the size of the water supply connection point.
